thanks Bob, but the "paste" option is not activated (it is grey). I did think that the settigns might be conflicting, but i changed them and still not working. I have try all the possible combinations (e.g. paste model 1 into 2, inverse, copy-close-open-paste, copy-paste with the two model...

but no, there are two different models (files) and i want to merge them into a single model.
