Not sure what you mean. I have XCode 3.2 installed which includes the gcc complier. If you mean gcc vs. llvm, I'm using the stock mdl.macx script that, as I read it, calls gcc.

Compiled simulation in Mac OS X -- missing simext.c
I'm trying to get compiled simulations to work in Mac OS X. For some reason there is no file "simext.c" and so when gcc goes looking for it, compilation fails. I've redownloaded and did a fresh install of VensimDSS. The simext.c file does not appear in /Users/Shared/Vensim/comp where all t...

Error while attempting to compile: version mismatch got 509
When I try to compile my model, I get an error message saying:
"Failed to compile. (version mismatch got 509 need 508)"
What is version is Vensim referring to? Any thoughts on how I might fix this? Using Vensim 5.5d and Visual C++ 2005 Express.
