Re: Model Reader Load Errors
Thanks for checking. Unfortunately on my test machine when I end the macro and try to run it again I get a model load error. I'll check again later just to make sure. Just out of curiosity is the machine you ran it on have other versions of VENSIM installed like the DSS or something? My test machine...

Re: Model Reader Load Errors
I'll need step by step instructions on what to do with the Excel interface (it is not obvious to me what to do). My apologies. 1) Go to the Model Dashboard tab. 2) Enter in the path to the model in the Model Location cell (C6) 3) Enter in the name of the model in the Model Name cell (C7) 4) Press t...

Re: Model Reader Load Errors
Here you go. The attached zip file contains a .vpa and the associated excel file from a previous iteration where I was experiencing one of the problems I mentioned.. For this particular iteration I was able to run the model once and then afterwards the model reader would fail to load the model. If I...

Model Reader Load Errors
Just looking for advice here, but was curious if anyone has ideas on what can cause the model reader to fail to load a model. (Assuming the path, model name and type are all correct) Long story short, I've built a model for Syndromic Surveillance that uses excel as a dashboard/post processing applic...

Re: VENSIM 6.1C Issue
Thanks. That fixed the table issue.Administrator wrote:Right click on the table tool and turn off pretty number formatting, that will hopefully clean things up.
Is there something similar to fix graphs?
When using the graph tool on my stock it only shows it going from 2010 to 2010 not 2012 to 2013.

VENSIM 6.1C Issue
Having an issue with Vensim 6.1c. I create a model with a single variable in it. I give it the constant value of 2014 and run the model. If I then look at the value over the course of the model run (either as a graph or the table output) it now displays as 2010. If I change the value to 311,111 and ...

Random tBetween Value in Pulse Train
I have the following statement: PULSE TRAIN (0,1,INTEGER(RANDOM UNIFORM (2,7,0)),FINAL TIME) In short I want a pulse train where the tbetween value varies from 2 to 6. I want the pulse to fire off at a given time, say time+4 and then after that pulse fires off I want it to fire off again 6 time step...

Input Sliders not recognizing range values
Was wondering if someone could explain to me what I'm doing wrong. No matter what I try the range of the input slider control always defaults to 0 - 100 step of 1 whenever I run a synth sim. Even the example models that come with the program revert to this despite what has been inputted into the sli...
