Vensim PLE is suddenly shutting on clicking "file -> new model or open model or save or save as".

I would like to know if there is a bug. I am using Windows 8.1.

I managed to work it out . All I needed was to create an additional variable representing the elements that I want to sum since I have so many subscripts that am working with.

How do I sum elements of a subscripts range?

The function is not working yet I use the equation: Sum (Variable [subrange!])

Thank you for your responses. I have a number of sub-models in my model and i want to put the equations for each sub-model in the appendix. Can Vensim organize these equations per sub-model? In my text view, the equations are organized alphabetically.
