I just wanted to check that this update did not make it into 8.1. I did not see it, but thought I'd check to make sure.

Is it possible to create custom sensitivity histograms in .vgd files? I'm got different sensitivity histograms that are best displayed with different numbers of bars, and bounds, so I'd like to create custom histograms that I can then place on the interface. Is this possible? Thanks!

Is there a known bug with summing over data entity types? When I create an aggregate to sum over a variable that was read in to a data entity, it sums to zero when the data is non-zero.

OK - thanks. What I'm looking for eventually is a way to label areas of the visualization - but I'm not using shapefiles since my application doesn't involve GIS maps directly. The legends get part of the way there, but I'd like to have general text labels instead of using codes. For example, my app...

How do you change the "Map Layer" in the visualizer, or is this meant to stay the same all the time, i.e. a map of the world?

Thanks Tom. So is it the case that you CAN visualize this type of application with the current visualizer using the map item entities, but it WILL be EASIER when you bring back the 3D visualizer?

Is it currently possible to use the Ventity visualizer without using shapefiles? I'm thinking that to visualize something like the agent-based infection model that Tom developed, there may not be a need to incorporate specific shapes to just show the infection spreading across different populations....

I noticed that a beta version 8 is available on the downloads page. What are the changes with this version? Do you have a summary available? Thanks!
