BUG: export xlsx format produces a corrupted file

Mac OS 10.14.6 Mojave Vensim 8.0.7 MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)

Using Model>Export dataset and choosing .xlsx format produces a .xlsx file that when I attempt to open with excel [version 16.16.16 (191111)] it is labeled as corrupt and will not open. .xls format is OK.

BUG: Vensim 8.0.7 "Uses tree" or "Causes tree" crash

Mac OS 10.14.6 Mojave
Select a variable in sketch mode and click on either the "Causes Tree" or the "Uses Tree" icons and the program abruptly terminates. The MacOS doesn't even acknowledge the termination.

Converting INITIAL to AUXILIARY globally

Is there a way to wholesale/globally convert all instances of INITIAL variables to AUXILIARY? or Is there a way to prevent the "\" line breaks from being automatically inserted when going from Sketch mode to text mode? If I can suppress the auto-linebreaks, then I can use Excel to remove t...

unknown source of file written to model dir using command

I am writing and reading files using venapp commands. I wish to place the files within a directory structure. I wish to verify the proper path name syntax to place the file into the directory and I need to find out what other vensim command is writing a duplicate file into a different directory. Thi...

The 6 bars in the attached jpg represent a single parameter's six subscripts. If I "mark" them with the "Value", they are correctly labeled with the value of the bar. Percent seems to apply to percent of the bar, which is always 100%, and not to the percent that the single bar re...

I had created a new mini by using save-as into the same folder-- several actually as I was duplicating three minis built for 15 region and then modifying them for 6 region. The minis are definitely present in the new directory. In my attempts to fix the problem, I removed them from the project and t...

Possibly related to my first posting, "File not found in SCREENS or COMMON folder", message is that many "extra" screen files have cropped in the C-ROADS-CP v2.VNP file. I've included that file. There are many more screens listed, 44, than I have screens, 13! All of those are rep...

File not found in SCREENS or COMMON folder

I've done something to activate the following message while I was creating some miniscreens: File not found in SCREENS or COMMON folder I happens when I enter the Sable UI. I've gone back and used the import/add file function to add the new miniscreens, but that hasn't helped. Is there some way to f...
