Re: Display simulated together with empirical values in a chart
I recently had a problem with creating a data entitytype and get an error message, that the entitytype "Interventions" (which is the name of the table in the data file) has no key attribute. This problem did not occur in the previous test. What might be the problem? Problem with data entit...

Re: Display simulated together with empirical values in a chart
Thanks, it works.
Is it possible to rename the results in the legend? The names appear rather "technical" and I would like to give them more meaningful names. I assume that it cannot be done in the legend, but just wanted to ask.

Sensitivity run
Hi
I would like to do a sensitivity analysis. I assume that the settings in the analysis (sensitivity) are correct, but I cannot see the results (see attached file).

Display simulated together with empirical values in a chart
Hi I would like to display simulated values together with empirical values in the same chart. How does this work? I assume that I have to specify time series data, but I do not succeed in using this table. To test it, I have constructed a simple test model (see attachment). Data are in the file &quo...

Re: Problem with using different datasets for same model
Hi
The data used are initialization data. With Future Switch == 2000 and dataset "xxxV12 Test" I get empty (no) values for the existing cohorts in the stocks for the years 2001 and later.

Re: Problem with using different datasets for same model
Hi
It seems that the problem has to do with the fact that a switch time has been used. If this variable is set to a value beyond 2030 the model behaves well.

Problem with using different datasets for same model
Hi I face a problem in a relatively simple model with two different datasets. With one dataset (xxx V12), the model works, although giving me some warnings, while with the second dataset (xxx V12 TEST), the model does not work. However, the structure of the datasets is (as far as I can see) identica...

Debugging problem
Hi
I'm working on a a model with age cohort attributes and wanted to create a collection (Age younger20). Now I wanted to delete this collection, but cannot do this. Debugging information and the model are enclosed.
Best regards

Problem with command action
Hi I'm testing a cohort model where in each cohort a command action should be executed. With this command action a transition should take place from a Non Smoker Population to a Smoker Population. The action is triggered if the number of people becoming smokers is greater than zero. The action seems...

Re: Mortality rates in a cohort model depending on creation time of the cohort
I realized only recently that in the models presented above, there was an error. I post two models here (Test Group Cohort 1m; Test Group Cohort 1n), where the second builds on the first. In the second model "Incidence Rate CHD" is the inflow to "Head Cohort with CHD Population with C...

Cohort models age monitoring
I wanted to implement a feature in a population cohort model where age classes can be monitored (e.g. 0-24, 25-34, etc.). For this reason I referred to the sample model "CohortPop+ageMonitorAlt" and used the construction presented there for "childbearing age". So an attribute &qu...

Re: Mortality rates in a cohort model depending on creation time of the cohort
Hi A model has been created where as suggested above the mortality rates of each cohort with CHD depend a) on the age of the cohort and b) on the time since the event. Two models are uploaded here. In the second model (Test Group Cohort1r) the cohorts are deleted if population falls below a minimum ...

Re: A cohort model issue
Thanks for the suggestion. I was exactly looking for a solution for the problem you describe. I can now use the age of the cohort in the "cohort with CHD", but there is a problem with the initialization of "population with CHD". I used this construction with "head cohort&quo...

Re: A cohort model issue
Hi I would like to model a problem where in a cohort entity a second cohort creation action is defined. These "subcohorts" (here called "Cohort with CHD"), should receive the incidence of CHD as initial value, and retain the age of the original cohorts. This works so far. For the...

A cohort model issue
Hi I would like to implement the following: At the onset of a coronary event a new entity is created (CHD Cohort). This cohort should receive the new cases with CHD (incidence rate CHD) as the initial value. My idea is that these cohorts are created continuously, but are nonzero only if they are pop...

Problem with reference
Hi I want to create a simple test model which should provide a preliminary step towards a more complex issue for the cohort modelling. It seems that I have a Problem with a reference (or with the Trigger). This model should do the following: Create new CHD cohorts (in the CHD cohort entity) with a f...

Re: Mortality rates in a cohort model depending on creation time of the cohort
Hi I implemented a most basic structure including incidence of coronary heart disease and incidence of high blood pressure (no real figures, only piping and plumbing). This model would work. However, the question is if from a programming point of view there is a serious concern against this solution...

Re: Mortality rates in a cohort model depending on creation time of the cohort
Hi Thank you for your suggestion. Clearly, blood pressure should be an attribute. I have included this aspect, but uploaded the wrong model. Sorry for that. The structure is the same as you referred to, but with "blood pressure" as an attribute instead of "region". Just for your ...

Error messages: unclicking results and data file not found
Hi I get some problems when I want to click/unclick results for a simulation with many cohorts. The procedure is very slow (much slower than for the simulation itself) and sometimes it does not work properly (see my model uploaded in the other post). Moreover I get sometimes (not always) the error m...
