Multiple Selected Vars on Graphs using Venapp

I find very useful the multiple selection of variables when displaying graphs in the Vensim User Interface.
How to do the same thing using VENAPP [SPECIAL>VARSELECT|New var to select]? The drop-down list of the variable doesn't allow multiple selections.

Game Type Variable in equation editor

Hello,
I'm using DSS 5.7 a.
In the "Type" drop-down list (equation editor) the type "game" doesn't appear any longer.
Maybe a little bug?

MENU>VDF2TAB & Double Precision

Hi, using DSS Double Precision, I notice that the MENU>VDF2TAB exports data with less digits then the calculation engine uses. This causes inconsistency between values in the model (High precision) and values in the exported data file. Is there a way to force the same precision in exported data? Paolo

One way is - I see now - to use an "edit" control, disable it, and link it to the same parameter the slider is linked to. This way the edit box shows the current value set by the slider itself.
Is there any simpler way to get the same result?

I just downloaded SABLE Lite, and tried to test the button's performances. Under "Button" Tab, as I set "Simulation" a radio-button window appears (Silmulation Command) displaying all possible options; if I select any of the possible choiches, the "OK" button doesn't wo...

VENSIM_GET_INFO

Thanks for the reply.
The function VENSIM_GET_SUBSTRING returns only the first string; the rest is garbage, so this function doesn't fit our problem.
I seem that the only way is working with pointers; isn't it?
kind regards, Paolo.

VENSIM_GET_INFO

Hi, I'm using c# to build a program with "DLL". I declare your library function as follows: *** public static extern int vensim_get_info(int infowanted, StringBuilder buf, int maxbuflen); *** and I call this function: *** sb = new StringBuilder(500); Vensim.vensim_get_info(10, sb, 500); **...

Hi, how can I write a command script to launch after running a simulation? The script should perform: - select the correct "vdf" file; - choose "excel" as export format; - select the "save list" I want; - set the "time interval" to "12" or whatever e...

Failed to read the model - Caution from Vensim

Hi,
I have some troubles with a "wmf" model. I get this message: "Failed to read the model ModelName.wmf", within a "Caution from Vensim" popup window.
This model contains some RC variables.
Is there any trick to open it as well?
Thanks, Paolo.

Sketch views management

Hi Bob,
what I mean is to use the mouse wheel just like it works in AutoCad, MS Word and other programs: whan you press Ctrl and rotate the wheel a zoom-in / zoom-out is performed; when you press the wheel, you can pan the screen moving the mouse.
Thanks for your reply, Paolo.

Is there some simple way to obtain a detailed report on sensisivity analisys?
The graph is good, but gives just a qualitative idea of the simulation.

I found a draft solution.

Hi,
attached is a draft model which addresses the problem. It works correctly only if no new borrowings take place after the main loan starts. I think that - anyway - this kind of credit line doesn't allow new borrowings after the start.
Any comment is welcome!

Thank you Lee,
but I can't display the thousands separator: neither ",", nor ".".
What I just get is 1900,00 (or 1900.00), depending on the european checkbox check, and not 1,900.00
