Im looking for theory and trends in using 3-D geometric modeling as a direct mapping of the SD model to the extent that the color, size, shading, shape, and motion of 3-D objects represent variables in the model. Is anyone doing 3-D visualization of Vensim (or other) SD simulations?
What 3-D graphics tools are used? How are they interfaced? Did the
3-D animation provide faster/additional insight into the model
behavior?
