Can you provide more detail? What outcomes are you looking at?
And have you selected a suitably small time step?

Re: connectors to vars scrolled to not possible
Option 1 : No, it's not possible in PLE+ either. Only things that actually appear are drawn (for performance reasons), if something is off sketch, effectively it's not there, which is why the tool doesn't work. This will be fixed in the next release.

Re: cannot change orientation of valve any more in trad sketch
Are you using the traditional sketch style when right clicking on the valve?
I'll check this and fix if needed when I'm back in front of a computer.

Re: cannot change orientation of valve any more in trad sketch
Right click on the valve and you should be able to change the orientation.
Most users stick to the traditional sketch style. The arrows on the "new" style can be difficult to see.

Re: Modeling simultaneous substitution flows
I'm not familiar with this kind of healthcare so I can only offer some general advice. I think I'd look at the stock of each medicine rather than the demand. Then the outflow from this stock is the "fulfilment rate", but if that cannot be met, try taking any remaining medicine B. That woul...

Yes if using Vensim Pro/DSS.
Right click the table tool icon and edit the settings. Now change the number format.

Re: Outflow ordering in Vensim
You need to handle this manually.
First calculate "sales". Then work out what is left (stock - sales * time step), and allocate to other facility.

Can you email/upload the config you are using? I've tried experimenting here and am not seeing the same behaviour you are (Vensim freezing).

Re: Time in function
Try adding time to the sketch using the shadow variable tool <V>. Then draw an arrow from time to your auxiliary. Does that fix things ?

Venapps might still work in the old GUI. We found that so few people use them, we concentrated on a more usable option in the newest version of Vensim (GUI objects directly on the sketch).

I'd urge you to use SVG instead if you can. I'm sure it will not be long before SVG is a recognized clipboard format.

GET XLS is not supported yet (we are working on that though, it requires a lot more code to be migrated).
Thanks for the note about POWER, I'll fix that.

Re: Vensim: How to I add value annually
You've got the "initial" value set to a pulse train. The initial value is used to initialize the stock, not increase it during a simulation. Create a new variable called "yearly inflow" (or something better), make the equation PULSE TRAIN (0,0.01,1,8). Now in your equation above,...

Re: Vensim: How to I add value annually
Would PULSE TRAIN do what you need? That can be used to introduce a fixed amount at various intervals.
