I'm not familiar with Kumu, but it sounds like the causal table is probably the tool you need.

Are you sure you cannot get access to that tool? It's been in Vensim for a while, if your licence is still under maintenance you can upgrade to get it.

Sounds like a permissions issue.

There used to be a way to fix permissions on a Mac, but I think Apple have hidden that behind some other setting now. But if you search the web for this error, there are solutions.

Upon redownloading Vensim version 10.3.1 on Windows 11 Home, the toolbar icons have all had their colour inverted. Can you turn off dark mode and see if the icons are ok? Do things improve if you turn off Tools->Options->Variable appearance, "Show underbars"?

Can you send us your Vensim settings file? If you open Windows explorer and type in %APPDATA%\vensim, you'll find a file called vensimdp.ini.

All you can do is hard code them into the equations in the model. PLE cannot read data from external files.

If you are using PLE, your only option for an interface is to use SD Everywhere or Forio.

Strange. I'll have to temporarily remove the release until I can find out why this has happened. Same thing happens on my M1 Air, and the Intel installer is not showing the licence agreement for some reason.

Back to building on a 10 year old Mac.

Can you try moving the main Vensim window to see if it's underneath it? It should not be, but I'd like to check.

We are still working on making the web side better. The latest release (10.3) allows data files to be used. But we still need a developer with web experience that can help with this.

Sorry, I'm struggling to follow this thread. I see in the video that no error appeared. I cannot think of a reason why as it appears fine for me on both Apple Silicon and Intel. Could your Mac be running the Intel binary instead of the Apple silicon one? That would explain it, FP errors on Apple Sil...
