Re: Output Custom Graph
Hi all,
Can I know how to customise the Y-axis of graph? I want to remove the '300 tasks' as I will adjust the Y-division.
Thanks

I want to calculate the 'Current Completion Date' using the SMOOTHi function as it will give the expected time. This will return the difference in numbe...

Re: Calculation of Actual Completion Date
Hi Larry,
Thanks for your reply.
Perceived project done is how much work on the project has been done correctly and how much work has been done based on the scheduled date.
Can I plz email my model instead?
Thanks
Liizz

Re: Completion Tasks not varying
Hi Tom, I am thinking that, at the start there is a set of tasks to be done and we can assume that the maximum of tasks are sent to 'Work Performed in module' Then, depending on the number of modules will increase in the undiscovered reworks in tasks. I'm not so sure that a stock of undiscovered rew...

Calculation of Actual Completion Date
Hi all, I want to calculate the Actual Completion Date. But, since these variables (completion date based on labour and time to meet schedule) are based on calculations. Is there some built-in functions whereby I can achieve this? I think the Actual Completion can be considered as a variable and I d...

I didnt get what you mean 'steady state error'?tomfid wrote:Take a look at http://vensim.com/causal-tracing-in-vensim/, then revisit your model.
There's some steady state error (equilibrium workforce is short .3 people), because the hiring decision doesn't anticipate personnel leaving.
Thanks

Re: Need help with formulas
Yes as per the graph i sent you, for inexperienced its declining.

haha, my tutor has no experience in modelling and no discussion
Thanks

Re: Need help with formulas
Effect of experience on productivity is based on the no. of either experienced or inexperienced personnel I have?
Lets say I have 10 inexperienced, the graph shall show a decline and for experienced people it shall be a rise.
Can I send u a simplified version of it?
Thanks
Liizz

Re: Need help with formulas
Tony, I have been able to troubleshoot some errors up till now but this one is taking too much time. I am making use of graphs itself. [Please see file] The logic of the equation for the hiring process is looking fine. My equation for : Effect of experience on productivity= IF THEN ELSE(Cumulative W...
