thanks for your response
assuming my units of time is in months. and i want to represent the change in a variable between month 1 and 2. This change needs to be used as an equation for another variable.

how to model change between two time steps
Hello all, What equation can be written for an auxiliary variable (A) that is the result of another variable (B) when the state changes from time Tx to time Tx+1, such that, A at time Tx+1 = B at time Tx+1 minus B at time Tx I am trying to model the change between the simulated data generated in two...

Re: modeling cyclical demand pattern into a constant variabl
using lookup appears to be complex. can i use STEP function? if yes, kindly forward me details to input in the model
thanks

Re: modeling cyclical demand pattern into a constant variabl
thanks for your reply.
the model runs in "Months" but I am simulating for 4 years (48 months)
May be easier to use a lookup to store "demand", where the x-axis goes from 0 to 48 (month).
i will try this and see how it goes
many thanks

modeling cyclical demand pattern into a constant variable
Hello all, I would like some help building data into my model. I have "demand" that causes "order". Both are in "units" My model is set to run for 48 months and I would like to use cyclical demand pattern to represent the data for "demand" as follows - month 1...
