Re: Integral/Differential equations
I need it for my dissertation as I want to show the (proper format of) mathematical equations. By document, you mean the help document? Thanks

Integral/Differential equations
Hi all,
I've a query regarding the mathematical equations used by Vensim software. Is there a way to convert the equations of variables to propher mathematical equations for Word document?

Re: IF THEN ELSE timestep
Hi Admin,
Sorry, I meant if the value is above or consist with a certain number for more than 3 hours
(F THEN ELSE (value >= 10 ...)
Can i use the :AND: word for it?

IF THEN ELSE timestep
Hi,
I've got a query. Let's say I want to put an IF equation that if TIME has that value for more than 3 hours, do this. How can I achieve that using the IF THEN Else function?
Thanks!

Re: Increase look up values incrementally
It's a way for me to increase the constant input. The multiplier suggestion did the trick!
Thank you so much tomfid.

Increase look up values incrementally
Hi, is it possible to increase look up values incrementally (lets say add 1 or 10% of the value). if it' can't be done with look, what the STEP/PULSE Train method. I have the Pro version.
Thanks!
Thanks!

SHORT FINAL TIME behavior
Hi I've got a query and I bear for your patience. Given that SD's to understad nonlinear behavior over time, is it possible to model just a workday only (lets say 12 hours with TIME as hour and TIMESTEP as 1) and deduce behavior? or does one need to input a large number as FINAL TIME to see the over...

Re: Get fixed mean
Hi tomfid, Got bit lost implementing that. I wouldn't mind using the moving average as it's quite suiting for me but I had trouble understanding the directed post that details how to calculate the moving average: "The following will work for any time window: past quantity held = INTEG(value-del...

Re: Get fixed mean
It's something I am calculating as a simulation progress. It's basically the number (MEAN) the statistics tool provides after the simulation finishes.

Get fixed mean
Hi,
I have an variable and want to get the fixed mean of the data it contains. The stastics tool provides me with the number but ideally, I want it in a variable so I can reference it. Any idea?
Thanks in advance!
