Data variables
Hi, I am having the following issue: I have a dataset (vdf-file) which I want to use for 3 data variables. The data loads correctly into the 3 data variables (highlighted in red in the model attached). However, as soon as I try to do experimental runs I get the following error. "The variable- I...

Re: Uploading Data onto Vensim PLE
Hi tomfid, sorry for coming back to this issue. I've tried to fix the lookup and also reread the help on lookups as well as the video on lookups (https://vensim.com/lookups-in-vensim/), however I am still lost here. I simply want to return the value of the lookup with the input time and use it in my...

Re: Uploading Data onto Vensim PLE
Hi Tomfid,
Thanks for your quick reply.
Would you mind explaining how to solve this issue with another lookup in Vensim PLE? What kind of lookup?
Thank you!

ERROR: Unable to correctly load in exogenous values - aborting. I compared my model to the revised model the administrator sen...

Re: Initialize stock in terms of parameter
Hi!
Thanks for the answer. It would work like this. However, the population variable is a stock and as far as I know should not have polarity links pointing vom auxiliary variables to the stock. Is there another way I can make this work?
Thanks.

Initialize stock in terms of parameter
Hi! I am documenting the equation for a stock variable and want to initialize (set initial value) the stock based on another variable, specifically Total Population. I entered Total Population in the Initial Value box. However, whenever I click ok and want to close the functions tab Vensim keeps say...
