Integrated Model

Hi! I am working with Vensim Standard 5.6d. I have a model with 10 views. i.e. View 1: Demand Model; View 2: Capacity Model; View 3: Productivity Model; and so on... I am looking for a way to integrate those "sub-models" in a only model view, just to make a presentation. Of course that If ...

Sensitivity Graph - How to customize it best?

Hi! At the same way we are able to customize general graphs in the control panel, I would like to modify the standard output from the sensitivity graphs in other to fit them with the rest of my graphs in my model. In other words, regarding to the sensitivity graphs, I would need to be able to...: 1)...

Lee and JJ Thank you both for the support. My Vensim is a Standard Version 5.6d The model auxiliary2.mdl is running perfectly. While running the model Sample_if_true it came out with the following warning message: WARNING: At 12 Above -#x1#- computing -x1-. I did not understand why it came out if th...

Dear JJ Thank you very much for your prompt help. Another point in my model that I've got staked is the attempting to represent a kind of model behavior that is also based in the smaller value by the time, but extracting those just from one auxiliary variable, so, not comparing that with another one...

Auxiliary variable to keep the smaller value...

Dears I do need to create a auxiliary variable "X2" that simply repeat the smaller values of auxiliary "X1" by time, trough comparing the value of an year with the value of the previous year, hence always having as output the smaller value of the auxiliary "X1" during t...

Auxiliary Variable - Index Rate of Decay or Growth of the Pr

Hi everyone. I am trying to sketch an auxiliary variable to get an index in terms of percentage that can show me the rate of Decay or Growth of the Price in an year ‘y’ in relation to Price and Demand in year 1: For instance: Demand in year 1 = 500 widgets Widget Price in year 1 = 10$ Hence, the Wid...

Comparing the growth rate...

Dears I have sketch a demand model where in its core rate and box variable level shows the valve representing the demand growth in terms of widgets and the box level representing the demand level at certain time. I am needing to get the demand growth rate annually in terms of percentage, starting fr...

I solved the problem simply setting the Time Bounds for the Model in Model Settings.
I think that is the answer.

Thanks anyway...

Graphs lines can not be seeing...

Dears As I was doing previously I was using the control panel to set a basic graph to my model with the following scale: In time axis: Start time: 0 Special Time: 30 End Time: 30 Then I ran the model and clicked on graph button and the line is showed. In order to display the range of years correctly...

Warning message - Lookup table

Dears

I was running my model with a Lookup table and I faced the following warning:

WARNING: At 0.3125 Above -"LOOKUP-TAB EFECT OF X ON Y FUNCTION(A)"- computing - EFECT OF X ON Y"

Somebody could clarify my mind what does it means?

Thanks

Scaling - Displayng graph divisions...

Dears It seems a simple issue but I could not find the solution. I am trying to scaling my x-axis annually, setting from 2000 to 2030. Basically I performed the following actions: In Control Panel in Scaling I set: Scaling: Setting Horizontal Division = 30 Marking Add line at 0 Marking Add line at 1...

Running WIDGETS.MDL model

Hi! I am trying to understand how to run the model WIDGETS.MDL, from CHAP18VE in the folder VENSIMMO.zip. What should I do basically to get different outputs and see in the graphs? How the equation named "time" was introduced and how to visualize that, if it is possible? Regards. Claudio

Import Dataset - Excell Spreadsheet .xls

Hi! I imported the Dataset ELECTRIC.DAT from the CHAP 18(Electric.mdl) to the Excell program and save that as ELECTRIC.XLS. I did not succeed to import ELECTRIC.XLS dataset to Vensim. Most of the Table/Spreadsheet Error Messages seems to be regarding to the data type that best describes the imported...

Hi! Andy. Thank you. I have got the point and I succeed in doing that. Hi! Andy Thank you very much for your reply. I did not realise where should I set the Equations you'd suggested. I tried to do it via Control Panel in Dataset box.... but it is not working... I tried several options and variations, including syntaxs. I'd gonne throught the Vensim Manual but I did no...
