Re: 't' is not a variable name
I said this is the 'carpopulation' Level object, but that's a later model.
This one is a simpler population model.

't' is not a variable name
Good day, I'm working on the car population model in Donnella Meadow's book Thinking in Systems, and the formula for the population Level object is given as: Stock: population(t) = population(t - dt) + (births - deaths) × dt Initial stock value: population = 6.6 billion people I tried to whittle it ...

Re: Sterman Delay models (CH11) have all components on one small spot on the screen
By the way, yesterday I emailed BusDyn@mit.edu to ask them if they could correct the models that are 'piled-on', and also the models, I found, are strung vertically along the left side of the Vensim model window. There are 8 of those. I would like to see all the models working with the current versi...

Re: Sterman Delay models (CH11) have all components on one small spot on the screen
That seems to have done it. Other models from that CD exhibit the same behavior, like POLYAPRO.mdl, NONLINEA.mdl, Chapter 4, 8 models seem fine, Ch9 BASSREPE.mdl is same way, BASSWITH crashes my PLE+ v8.2.1, RICHARDS appears to be from an early version of Vensim, but allows me to convert the charact...

Sterman Delay models (CH11) have all components on one small spot on the screen
Good day, all, I'm looking at the Adaptive models in Business Dynamics by John Sterman, and the ADAPTIVE.MDL and ADAPTIV1.mdl files show all of the components of the models sitting on top of each other in a small section of the window, and I'm struggling to separate the components. It came this way ...

Re: Tutorials (Video + text)
I have created a page to share tutorials developed by students of Dr. Hazhir Rahmandad in Advanced Dynamic Modeling class and System Dynamics Lab. Two videos have been uploaded and more videos are coming soon! Please check them out here: http://www.sdl.ise.vt.edu/tutorials.html Should you have any ...
