You need a custom graph. Open the control panel (button near right of the top toolbar), one of the tabs allows you to create a custom graph with more than one variable.

Those are actually warnings that you have passed a variable to a lookup that has a unit.

Traditionally, lookups are supposed to have a dimensionless X axis.

The graphic tools are "at a point in time", they will not update during SyntheSim.

But you can add a graph to the sketch, that will update during SyntheSim.

Can you upload the file? How large is it?

It looks like you've maybe saved the model to the root folder on your computer (which isn't allowed). Try saving to your documents folder. I think I understand what you are saying, if you click on one of the other icons to create sketch elements, the diagram will be unlocked.

Can you detail exactly what you do please? Do you click File->Open, or double click in Windows explorer or something else? Also are you running Windows or a Mac with a Windows emulator?

Try option (Mac) or ALT (Win) and up/down, that should do it.

You need to ask your IT to install Vensim under your own account.

Did you install Vensim using admin permissions, and using the user account you want to use Vensim with?
