Re: Request of SD advice - Ph.D Thesis results
Hi Sometimes but not always, Vensim if strict unit is not set, does not consider that adding a dimensionless variableor constant to a variable with dimension is not and error, guessing probably that the constant or variable without a dimension has the same dimension than the variable with a dimensio...

Re: about a simple use of the new GUI
Hi
Thank for your answer.
But I suppose that the user has a version of Vensim to open the model and run it?
What if he does not have one, like in the case of the old Venapps?

Re: Multi-input Lookup
Hi
I may be wrong but this looks like a two dimensionnal lookup. it is possible to build a two dim lookup with the vector lookup function. Look at the examples of Vensim model functions in users/public/vensim directory. joined.

Re: where is the sim set up from the old GUI in the new one?
Hi
I have not yet found the equivalent of the sim setup from the old GUI in the new one! Can anybody tell me where I can find it?
And It could be great if one could just have one model using all the new input objects from the new guide, so that one can see how they are used.

Hi
In the old GUI, there is a button named 'sim setup' where you can change the constant's values before running a simulation. Where can you do this with the new GUI?
Regards.

Hi I have started to work with the Venapps, that is not very practical. I have decided to work again with the new GUI. I will eventually need some explanations about the new input output objects. Hi I do not agree with you. You write: 'all you can really do is adding textonly for each line of the paragraph.' I do not know if you have read the two solutions that I have exposed: one is with a textonly for each line as you propose but the other one is with only one textonly for the whole text w...

But how do you expect the beta testers to test anything if they do not know how to use the new features that have to be tested?
