Re: One interface for multiple models
Lee Just to let you know it works really well. I now have an interface with three separate models - one purely qualitative, used as a visual descriptor of the business dynamics - running underneath as part of a learning and planning tool. Really adds to the educational opportunities. Now all you hav...

Re: Reset in Synthesim
Hi Tony Did you get a response to this one? I am interested, as not having that facility does make it more difficult for clients to use the models. When they've changed a value they have no way of knowing, in the interface, what the original or baseline value was. I'm trying to make my models as eas...

One interface for multiple models
Tony
I'd like to create a learning lab that utilises a number of models. Is it possible to create a Sable interface that is able to access more than one model.
Cheers

SABLE Graph and selecting WBVAR
Hi Tony When I set up a Sable graph everything is fine. However when I then ask it to select the workbench variagble it shows both axes as the variable value rather than the variable value on the y axis and time on the x axis. I have checked in the graph dialog and time is checked for the x axis. Wh...

Problmes with list box
Hi Michael
Having problems with the list box when I ask it to select the WBVAR - it crashes. Have just recently upgraded to latest version so wondering if it is related to that.
Thanks

Reset in Synthesim
Hi Tony
Does Sable have the equivalent of the two reset buttons that Vensim has in synthesim mode? One is the 'rest current slider to base model val (Home)' and the other is the 'reset all constants/lookups to base model vals (Ctrl+Home)'

Hi Tony Thanks for your prompt reply but I must be missing something very obvious. I know about the paging tab and the 'points per page' It is defaulted at 0. My model runs from 2006 to 2020 with a time step of 0,0625. When I set the 'points per page' to 1 that is what I get i.e. 2006 and at the bot...

Graph Pages
Try as I might I can't work out how to set up multiple pages on a graph. It would be of great help if I could set up a number of graphs on the one pad.
Thanks
David
Thanks

Font Colours
For most operations Sable gives you access to the full colour palette. However with fonts it is very restricted. Is the any way that text can access the full colour palette? I am trying to make my current model interface fit the client's colour scheme, as they are using it as part of their marketing...

Tony So if mini screens take their postion from the main screen not the Sable screen I'll need to take that into account in setting their positiin in the developer. So, that leads to the next question. If I've designed it to fit a screen size of 1024X 768 what are the rules that apply to the positio...

Position of mini screens
In positioning mini screens it seems as though they position themselves to the total screen rather than the Sable screen. I'm builidng an interface sized to 1024X768. When I open it up, using the runtime on another computer, with a different size screen from the one I developed it on, the mini scree...

Publishing Using Sable Runtime
I want to distribute a model that is designed around a screen size of 1024 X 768. The problem I have is that when you open up the runtime it does not match the designed screen size and you have to manually manipulate the borders to match the size of the model. Is there a better way around this? Idea...

Model View and Combo Box
I'm new to Sable and am having trouble using the combo box to move between model views. The model I have is a simple demo with only 3 views. When I set up the combo box everything seems to come through fine, however when I use the combo box to switch to screen 2 the model view jumps to view 3. Switc...
