Bug Report: Options Window in Model Reader v6.4E is Blank

Post by jrissman »

Hello Ventana Systems folks,

In Model Reader v6.4E (the current version), the "Global Option Settings" window (which you reach by choosing Tools > Options) is blank. See the attached screenshot. In prior versions of Model Reader, this window featured a set of options that applied to the Reader version of Vensim, such as setting the size of the icons displayed in the button bars.

Please note that Model Reader v6.4E fixes a runtime crash that happened in earlier v6.4-series Model Readers when trying to run the Energy Policy Simulator, so please don't revert wholesale to a prior version of Model Reader in order to fix the missing option window, or it will re-introduce the crash.

We won't revert. This is probably something simple. Thanks for the report.

It is something simple. I'll get a new build uploaded as soon as possible.

If you download the model reader now, it has the fixed menu.
