Help with exporting data

Hi folks,

I have not been able to get around this problem for a while now. I run the PLE Version. I have a time series data on an excel file..
Each time I use the getxlsdata or getdirectdata for one of my variables ('Wind Speed' on the model, refer attachment), I get an error while simulating it saying " The variable- Wind Speed -and perhaps others require a data file be specified".

To check what the error is, I noticed that once I enter these functions into the equation and click ok, it is simply not saved the next time I open it..

This is a professional project of utmost urgency, I really need help and fast. Thanking you in advance..

Vensim PLE does not support data input.

As a workaround, you can put your data in a lookup if you need it to drive the model behavior.
