Error in the model

Post by rishabh.mech10 »

Dear sir,
I am trying to run the simulation for my models.
But following errors has come
What does it mean?

ERROR: Fix floating point errors before entering SyntheSim mode.
ERROR: Floating point error computing - Vehicles used - at time = 0.312500.
Trying to save the results anyway

the values are wrong or the structure of the model?

Most floating point errors are a division by zero.

If you upload the model, I'm sure we can identify what is wrong.

Look at the value for "vehicles used". It's 731588, you only have 100 vehicles so you need to limit the outflow.

I think the vehicles section needs some work anyway. The "number of available vehicles" should influence the "Backlogger order transported", but you've got the "backlogged order" influencing the "number of vehicles". I'd start with a constant number of vehicles and use that to calculate the transport rate. Then you can look at increases/decreases in the number of vehicles when you have the transport rate working.
