Problem of display on the page of parameterization of an element

Post by FrenchDynamicSystem »

Hello everyone,

I am a new user of Vensim software. I downloaded the free software "Vensim PLE Education" yesterday => {Mac OS installation}

Once installed when I want to enter a formula for an element, the page that opens encounters a problem of display. This malfunction does not allow me to set my element (see image in attachment). This does it for each element. I would like to know if anyone has already encountered this problem and / or if there is a solution?

I would like to test Vensim for a month and I will see if I buy a license.

thank you in advance

Can you try downloading again? We had an issue with the equation editor, the latest version uploaded has a fix for this.

I installed Vensim again and unfortunately the problem persists.

What version of OSX are you running? The equation editor appears fine for me on OSX 10.12.6 (Sierra).

Hello,

Is there a fix for this?

I am having the same issue. I am using Mac 10.12.6 and Vensim PLE version 7.2. I am currently having issues using this software, it frequently crashes and I am experiencing an error with very small text in the equation editor window and disfigured window. On the download page it recommends to use an earlier version of Vensim, where can I download this version?

We uploaded a small change in the Mac version today, if you download again, you should get 7.2a. Does this fix the problem for you?

We removed 5.11a some time ago as it would not work on up to date versions of Mac OS (OSX does not seem to support software more than a couple of years old). I've updated the webpage now.
