I am receiving the above error when opening the equation editor / using the set subscripts for a variable.
My subscript control is not displaying any subscripts even though it worked up to now. I am using DSS 6.4c.
When I view the model as text, I can find the "equations" that define the subscripts, but somehow vensim is not reading them anymore. I've checked with other models using subscripted variables with the same result.
Any advice on resolving the problem.

I discovered Vensim was in offline mode. Fixed that and everything seems fine now.

I think we need to look at removing the "offline" mode (I've never used it).
