regression

Post by sani »

Hi
I’d like to try to estimate the parameters of the my model

from part of my model my strategy is to estimate separately the parameters, using regression

and i dont now how i can estimate?
I do not know how to enter the numbers I get through SEM in vensim
Please send me if you have a training file about regression calculation؟
Many thanks in Advance

Can you upload your model and the SEM numbers? And then explain what you want to calculate. Your post doesn't really contain enough information to offer you help.

What is SEM?

I don't know the relationship between SEM parameters and a dynamic model off the top of my head. I think there's a chapter on SEM here though:

Usually, if you have a model, you're better off to estimate it directly; parameters estimated by other methods, especially open-loop regressions, generally won't work well.
