Export to PDF

Post by aalto-comnet »

Hey there!

What would be the best way to export the models to pdf?

Or, to state it better, what would be the recommended way to turn the models in .eps images for optimal resolution?

Thanks! :D

You cannot export to EPS. If you are using Windows, Vensim will export vector graphics to the clipboard. Is this what you need?

You could use a pdf print driver, like PdfCreator.

Hey there!

Thank you for your replies.

I am on a Mac, however...

What I was doing so far was selecting and copying the model with the model with command-A, command-C, pasting it to Preview, and exporting to pdf from there. But it seems that the resolution could be somehow better...

Could it? Any further recommendations?

Thanks! :)

I've got no other recommendations if you are on a Mac.

Even on a Mac you should be able to print the currently open model in Vensim on a file with the proper resolution (300 dpi or higher).
All the best.
