Vensim 8.1.0 bug

Post by aalto-comnet »

Hi,

I am having an issue after the latest update. When I hover the mouse over the variables, I cannot see their description and units anymore.

Also, not related to the latest update, is there any kind of file naming restriction?

I have a model, say namecld.mdl. If I rename it to e.g. name0.mdl or name1.mdl, either by opening the model and through File->Save As or by just renaming the file in the folder, when I try to re-open it I receive a caution message, which is also empty by the way (no text message, just a yellow icon with a black exclamation mark).

Are you on Mac/Windows and if Windows, are you running 32 or 64 bit Vensim?

And can you email us one of the models that gives the caution message? This is not something we have seen.
