File copies

Hello,

I have been working on a sketch called eventman_experimental.mdl for several days. Now I find the directory is full of strange files, perhaps automatic backups, that I can't open. Can someone tell me what these files are?

They are backups, you can safely delete them.

Tools>Settings>Startup lets you set a backup file path to keep these out of your directory, though I generally don't.
