Vensim v8.2 crashing when scrolling (resizing)

I upgraded from v7.5 to v8.2 recently and have experienced random occurrences where Vensim shuts down, usually after I make a mouse scroll or screen resize. Have others experienced this behavior and is there a known fix?

What operating system?

Are you scrolling with a mouse wheel or scroll bar? In what window?

If you are on Mac and using the trackpad, we are aware of a couple of issue with certain gestures. Email us (vensim@vensim.com) with your licence details and I can give you access to the internal build which might fix the problem.

I am using Windows 10 OS on a desktop workstation with a corded optical mouse attached that has a scrolling wheel. Seems that when I make some type of motion with the wheel to resize it causes things to occasionally go bad. When it occurs, the system seems to freeze with the circular icon shown spinning, about 15 seconds pass, and then the Vensim disappears.
