Is there a way to save multiple versions of parameter settings?

Post by msilver »

Firstly - thank you all for your patience in answering all of my questions. Secondly - I've searched the forum and documentation and couldn't find an answer to this: is there a way to save and reload multiple sets of parameter settings?

Use case: I want to develop a set of edge cases. Let's say in the first edge case, all parameters are set to the min (i.e., "0"). In the second edge case, all parameters are set to the max. Now lets say I want to re-open the "Min" edge case and adjust all zeros to ones for a third case. Is there a way to reopen the first set of parameter settings?

I understand that I can save the outputs and represent the outputs in graphs for comparison, but that isn't the same as reopening a prior set of parameters for new edits. I also understand that there is the option to run a sensitivity simulation or a reality check - these seem to be close to what I'm thinking of, but not quite the same.

I'm guessing that the way to do this would be to save different versions of the model itself - is this correct?

Thanks,
Maxx

You cannot do this in PLE. CIN files is the way to do it.
