Trouble Importing From Excel

I want to input data from excel with GET XLS CONSTANTS, using a named cell. The cell is named
"initialcash1"
and I get the following error:
"No number foun in cel IN1(and perhaps others) of MBG.xls:InitialValues Unable to get constant values Additional live connections may also have errors"
The connection works if I put in the cell number (c2). I'm afraid it has to to with the letter/number combination, but Excel has no problems with it.

Are you able to post the model and spreadheet causing the problem?

I had the same problem and simpy avoided using numbers at the end of the name for the cell/range.

Tony is away on business this week, I will try to have a look for you but I am pretty sure that I tried named ranges ending in a number myself, and it did not work.

I'm Using Letters instead of Numbers now this is working fine. Thx anyway.
