Works in field of logistics

Post by ib94taka@mikkeliamk.fi (Tarmo Ka »

Hello!

Im curently in my last year of BSc of Industrial Management (Mikkeli
Polytechnic, Finland). In my diploma work I would try to study
logistics and possibilities to model it and to apply SD in this.
More specificly my intention is to look one chain in logistics
(in my case paper-chain: paper-mill --> warehouse --> customer).
I hoping to be able to build general model of this chain and also
one specific model for one of the element (warehouse) in chain.
If someone knows any sources for related works, papers etc.
I would be very grateful for this kind of information.

Thank you in advance.

All the best,
Tarmo Kallas

Are you familiar with the distribution chain model in "industrial Dynamics"
and the "Beer Game" in the references below?

Thanks to Roberta for the list of system dynamics books that have been
reprinted by Productivity Press.
