Hi everyone,
Im a Mphil. student in SD and Im also consultant of Arthur Andersen
(Business Consulting) at Rome Office (Italy).
As you know, in the USA System Thinking and System Dynamics are already
core skills of Arthur Andersen and
my purpose is to introduce SD concepts into italian client engangements.
Concerning with my Master Thesis as well as my job, Im actually
interested with applying SD models to evaluate the
effects of alternative firm strategies on "Shareholder Value".
Consequentely, Im searching for people involved in the development of SD
models to study issues related to "Shareholder Value" and "Economic Value
Added (EVA)". Any information, and suggested references will be really
appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Alessandro Lino

Shareholder Value SD Models
For a few years, all Pugh-Roberts strategy models have represented
shareholder value, often with other stakeholder and competitor valuations as
well.
Two published descriptions are the plenary paper from the Quebec System
Dynamics conference by myself and Robert Walker, "Strategy Modeling for Top
Management: Going beyond Modeling Orthodoxy at Bell Canada" on Telco
strategy, and the paper on the London Underground by Martin Callaghan, Rick
Park, and Donna Mayo from last years Systems Thinking Conference in San
Fransisco.
