To the system dynamics community,
I am searching for models on banking and international finance. My first
attempt is to model a banks operation by modeling the standard T account
balance sheets. In addition I am looking for information on how domestic
banks might link to the international finance system. Thanks.

Banking Models
Hi Len,
I co-authored a work with Jim Hines a few years ago which included a model of
the single-family housing finance system in the U.S. The model included very
interesting dynamics since the focus was on how federal financial guarantee
programs such as Ginnie Mae and Fannie Mae affect the marketplace.
The work includes a concluding report and a series of milestone reports with
model description, analysis and testing. The model itself is 1,100 equations
and parsimoniously designed.
If any of this sounds applicable to your inquiry, please call me at
860.676.8152.
