System dynamics courses for beginners

Post by salarcona@repsol-ypf.com »

Ive just finished my degree in electronics and automatic control
engineering and Im very interested in system dynamics; I would like to know if there are some system dynamic courses for beginners.

[ Hosts note: There are a number of companies that regularly offer training
courses on system dynamics and supporting software (these include High Performance
Systems, Powersim, Inc. and Ventana Systems). There are also quite a
few universities that offer regular, short and distance courses (these include MIT,
University at Albany, WPI, Bergen, WSU and the University of Illinois).

We also have a periodic posting of short/distance courses available for Europe that
come to this list (though I dont post individual course announcements).

However, I dont know of a web site that attempts to catalogue what is available -
if anyone knows of such a web site please inform the list - if not I pose this as
a challenge (are you listening Jack Pugh) to get something together.

]

Thanks

System dynamics courses for beginners

Hi Everyone,

Leslie Martin pointed out to me that Nan Lux at MIT maintains the following
site for the system dynamics in education project.

http://sysdyn.mit.edu/study.html

This is a university oriented list, but it includes lots of names and
should be a helpful resource.
