Hi all,
Im looking for people involved in the field of telecommunication who has
modeled (or is going to model) the dynamics of Local Loop Unbundling in
order to exchange ideas about it.
Thanks in advance.

Unbundling of the local loop
Nocolo,
I managed a strategic analytical project for a European (not British!)
telecom ex-monopoly to examine the dynamics of local-loop unbundling. We
have a demonstration model and presentations. This particular project
explored ways in which an incumbent could liberalise its system in advance
of regulatory requirement, stimulating the demand and provision of
third-party telecoms services, so as to maximise its shareholder value. We
have also worked on the other side of the fence, for new entrants looking to
take the most profitable business away from the incumbent in a sustainable
way.
Are you looking at commissioning a consulting project, or attempting to
model these dynamics yourself?
Best wishes,
Christopher
