Some time ago D C Lane of the London School of Economics placed a message
here saying that he has written a paper on what he called modes of
discourse between DES and SD. He invited people to contact him if they
wished to receive a copy of his paper. Probably some of you (or many of you)
did ask for a copy.
I have since read his paper and feel that it contains errors of fact and
interpretation. Accordingly, I have prepared a short note commenting on
Lanes views. If youd like a copy of my note, please contact me and Ill
send it. Im afraid that I havent got the time to spare on a lot of
correspondence but youll be able to compare his views with mine and make up
your own minds.

Geoff
