EURO/INFORMS 2003 in Istanbul

Post by Hayri Onal »

Dear Colleagues,

I am chairing the Economic Modeling cluster and Natural Resource
Management cluster in the EURO/INFORMS Joint International Meeting that
will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, July 6-10, 2003. I would like to invite
you to organize a session or submit an abstract that may be placed in a
session in one of these two clusters. The information about the
EURO/INFORMS conference can be found at http://www.istanbul2003.org/ . This
is a good opportunity to know what operations research and management
science people around the world are doing and to let them know what is
happening in the system dynamics world.

If you are willing to organize a session and serve as a session chair, you
need to contact your colleagues and invite them to submit an abstract for
your session. Each session will be 90 minutes, which will include three or
preferably four paper presentations. When you have four abstracts, please
contact me with the following information about each abstract: the names
and affiliations of all authors (speaker must be the first author), the
e-mail address of the speaker, and the title. If you prefer to submit an
abstract only, please contact me directly. I will place it in an
appropriate session after consulting with you.

The deadline for session proposals is December 10, 2002. Abstracts must be
received by January 15, 2003.

Istanbul is a crossroad between civilizations and an extraordinary place to
visit in July. To see why you may visit the web page
http://www.istanbul.com/ . I am sure this will be an unforgettable meeting
for all the participants. I invite you to attend this conference and will
be pleased to hear from you if you decide to organize a session or submit
an abstract.

Thank you.

Regards,
