SD work on food security.

SD work related to food security in general but preferably in Developing
Countries.

At an OR conference held recently in Burkina Faso, a least 1 paper was presented
on this topic. Currently I am trying to get its URL. Once I have it, I'll
forward it to you.

I would like to know more about what you are doing in this area as I'm working
in Zambia with a small group who are trying to set up sustainable food
production. I'm trying to model the underlying relationships.

Professor Khalid Saeed has done considerable work on food food policies in developing
countries. Refer to his book

Saeed, K. 1998. Towards Sustainable Development, 2nd Edition: Essays on
System Analysis of National Policy. Aldershot, England: Ashgate Publishing
Company.
Chapter 15 gives analysis of food policies in Vietnam. There are many other
chapter directly/indirectly linked to food security in this book. You can look at
