Simulation of Learning Effects

Does anybody know of SD work done in the area of learning or knowledge
management? I am doing a project in buyer-supplier relationships. I
am exploring the feasibility of using SD simulation to study the
phenomenon, on which predominantly qualitative methods are used.

Any references or comments are more than welcome.
