SFI-funded Postdoctoral Researcher - System Dynamics
Department of Information Technology,
National University of Ireland, Galway

The System Dynamics Research Group at NUI Galway seeks a suitably qualified
candidate to work as a Postdoctoral Researcher on a Science Foundation

dynamics of complex systems.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of System Dynamics
(e.g. system archetypes, feedback structures, qualitative modelling,
quantitative modeling), significant experience in designing numerical or
agent-based simulators, and have a thorough working knowledge of methods for
simulating social and organizational systems. As the work will also involve
applied research with industrial partners on practical simulation projects
(i.e. manufacturing supply chains and/or software project management),
previous industry experience and excellent inter-personal skills are required.

Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D., or about to receive a Ph.D., in
Computer Science, System Dynamics, Simulation or Operations Research. Work
