Athens Conference News and Updates
International Conference of the System Dynamics Society

ONE MONTH remains to submit your work for review. The submission
deadline for review papers and workshops, tutorials and session
proposals is MARCH 21. The link to the submission system is on the
conference website.

IMPORTANT DATES:
Self-nomination deadline for Dana Meadows Student Prize: March 21
Application deadline for partial Conference Scholarship: March 31
Notification of acceptance: May 9

The REGISTRATION BROCHURE is on the conference website. It includes
information on the program and the tentative schedule, conference
accommodations and a hotel room reservation request form, the
registration form, and much more. Online conference registration is
available.

SOCIETY AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIPS: Nominations are invited for the Jay W.
Forrester Award and the Dana Meadows Student Paper Prize. Scholarships
covering conference registration fees and in some cases hotel expenses
for the conference days are available. OUTSIDE AWARDS: The Barry
Richmond Scholarship Award, the Building the World Award and the Lupina
Young Researchers Prize will be presented this year. For information or
to submit your paper for any award, and for information on scholarships,
log into the conference submission system; on the User Menu page, click
on the “Award and Scholarship Information” button and follow the
instructions.

The NEWCOMER ORIENTATION is a special event for newcomers. If you are a
newcomer and would like to benefit from this program, please check the
box on the registration form as a first-time participant. To volunteer
as a guide, please contact jamesmelhuis@gmail.com.

EARLY DECISION FOR VISA OR FUNDING PURPOSES: The program committee will
review a paper for early decision for authors who need a long lead time
to acquire a visa and/or funding. Please consult the Submission System
Instructions found on the conference website.

post-conference vacation options as well as opportunities for guided
coach tours and one-day cruises, please visit
