The project-team dynamics of innovative systems (DIS) aims at analyzing
socio technological change processes in economies, in order to identify
high leverage intervention points for supporting the market penetration of
energy-efficient technologies. E.g. the following research question should
be answered. How should a robust market-implementation of energy-efficent
cars be managed and supported?

For this challenging task we are looking for a

PhD Student

Marketdynamics of Energy-Efficient Technologies

Your tasks

* Empirical and theoretical investigation of decisive change processes in
the automobile market determining the market penetration of
energy-efficient cars

* To customize and upgrade the system dynamics model on the diffusion of
competing drivetrain technologies according the specific research question
at hand

* Developing and analyzing different policy and strategy experiments and
working towards a coherent road map for the implementation of energy
efficient cars.

* Collaboration with the public private partnership for sustainable
mobility in the pilot region of Basel
