Sixth Annual Meeting of the Latinamerican Chapter of the System Dynamics =
Society

The Latin American Chapter of the Society for the Dynamic Systems has the=
honor
to announce its Sixth Annual Meeting, to be held from 22 to 25 October 20=
08 in
Santiago, Chile. The activity is jointly organized by the Universidad de =
Talca,
Adolfo Iba=F1ez University and the Diego Portales University. We invite s=
cholars
and practitioners of the discipline and related disciplines modeling and
simulation systems with feedback, to submit their work.

1. Aims
The meeting allows academics, professionals and students of system dynami=
cs to
share their work and discuss progress. It is also an opportunity to estab=
lish
links with decision makers, consultants, academics and students from vari=
ous
fields of business, government and the social and natural sciences.

2. Programme
The congress consists of a symposium about the dynamic and complex system=
s,
plenary sessions, parallel and poster sessions covering a wide variety of
application areas in

4. Submission of work

We accept two types of work (submit to Martin Schaffernicht: martin@utalc=
a.cl):

* Full articles
* Posters with extended abstract.

About full articles:
The articles will undergo extensive review by two anonymous referees and =
- if
accepted - will be published in the Proceedings of the Congress. The revi=
ewers
may recommend publication in the special issue of the =93Revista de Din=E1=
mica de
Sistemas=94.
Papers must be written in Spanish, Portuguese or English. All work submit=
ted
requires a main presenter registered to a deadline; work without this sup=
port
will be removed from the programme.
For papers that report modeling work, is highly desirable to add the mode=
l or the
equations as additional material. The best papers will be considered for
publication in the =93Revista de Din=E1mica de Sistemas=94.
About posters with extended abstract:
Posters with extended abstract is a special form for authors who can not =
attend
the congress. Extended abstracts (4 pages) will be put to the evaluation =
of the
program committee and exposed as posters during the Meeting, but not publ=
ished in
its Proceedings, which will only list the authors.
