trouble recreating vensim models in ventity

Postby Benjamin Sprecher » Wed Aug 09, 2017 4:35 pm

I recently built a vensim model to explore base-metal and companion metal production. This seemed like a perfect model to translate to ventity, because there are a bunch of companion metal mines that have a identical structure but differ in a couple of co-production fraction parameters. I attached the model in this post.

I'm immediately running into trouble because I can't recreate the GDP growth loop (lower left corner of the vensim model). Is there a reason why I can't have auxiliaries influence stocks, and how would you recommend building this type of model in Ventity?

Kind regards,

Ventity is a little stricter about stock-flow methodology. But if you make GDP Addition into a flow, this should be doable.
