change properties of button

Post by MKui »

If I edit a button e.g. change color of text or change color of button Ventity stucks which means it doesn't react on anything. I have to shut down the computer to exit Ventity and all editions are not saved.

I can't replicate this - are you using the latest version (1.2)?

What operating system?

Can you kill ventity via the task manager instead of shutting down?

A screenshot or video would help us to diagnose this.

Is your sequence the following?
- right-click the button
- choose "Edit"
- change the BackClr or ForeClr property
- click elsewhere on the diagram, so that the properties lose focus & close

Windows10
Via the task manager using option 'sign off'

Sequence:
- right click
- choose edit
- change BackClr of ForeClr property
Now Ventity sticks, no possibility to do anything. Clicking elsewere on diagram, or all other possible Ventiuty options do nothing.

What happens if you use "end task"?

With 'end task' Ventity is closed.

It also appears when I select ForeClr I cannot select a color allready after the subwindow with the possible colors to select opens Ventity stucks

So if you "end task" does that avoid the need to sign off?
