Lookup function - error message and no clue

Hello everybody,

working the first time on a small model (actually an assignment) I struggle with getting the lookup function smoothly into the model.

The error message in the very function while editing (see attached screenshot) reads as:

"table of Effect of Resources on Life Span is a lookup name or stringvar and cannot be used as a variable."

I tried to embedd the lookup into the auxilary variable "Effect of Resources on Life Span" - not to the better;-(

To be honest I am clueless what it means and whether the lookup function / table is in the right place/use.

Help is very much appreciated.

I guess is that what you are trying to do is

Effect of resources on life span =
Table of Effect of resources on life span ( Fish/resource limit )
