How to display equations of more than one variable?

Post by stumu »

Hi,

Is it possible to display equations for more than one variable in vensim? I would like to chose a number of variables in a view, display their equations, copy the text displayed and paste the copied text in a word/text processor.

Thnks

Use the documentor tool "Doc" from the analysis tools

Select the check box "Selected Vars" under the "Multiple Equation Options".

Select the variables on the view (holding shift)

Click on the documentor tool

Export window contents.

Job done

Lee,

Thanks, but when i do as you advised and click on the document tool, it opens an empty screen. Could it be because of the version vensim i am currently using (Vensim Pro ver 5.9)?

Lee,

Thanks, your advice worked, but I am not sure why it didn't at first.

There was a bug with the document tool that was fixed in 5.9d I believe. The blank document output is the symptom I remember for this.
