"Floating Point overflow saving to time 0.000000"
I am getting this error when allocating resources using allocation by priority function. Can anyone give insights about this error?.
Thanks
Krishna
Need information on Vensim Professional Error
Can you paste the full error, or post the model?

FYI I have made a couple of independent models and then have copied and pasted each of these models in a single model (which I call the assembled model). I don't get this error when I run the models separately, but when I run the assembled model I get this error.
Thanks

More generally, your strategy should be to trace this inputs to "design resources allocation to phases stage 1 cds[concept]" which the output window indicates as the source of the problem. The table tool is generally good for that. - Tom

Hi all,
Thanks for the information. I have been trying to troubleshoot the error but have no clue of ts origin. FYI i have copied different independently working models to a single model. When run independently all the models are simulating with no errors and sensible results. But the assembled model is producing errors. I am uploading the model for you.
Thanks
Krishna

If you use the table tool and work backwards, the problem is easily found.
Some of the parameters used by the allocate function (eg, ALLOCATION PRIORITY CDS) are missing values. Fill these in and it should all be ok.
